Bufadero de la Garita
At high tide, when the rock pools are filled with water, the pressure forces the water out through the small holes, creating a spectacular display as the water shoots several meters into the air.
Pico de Bandama
We stop at the Mirador del Pico de Bandama viewpoint, which offers panoramic views of the municipality of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the volcanic Bandama Caldera, and most of the northeastern part of the island of Gran Canaria.
Galdar - Banana Plantation
The next stop is a visit to a private, non-commercial banana plantation, where we’ll learn about the cultivation of this fruit and see how it ripens.
Finca la Laja - Coffee Plantation
Finca de La Laja is a coffee plantation that has been managed by the Lugo-Jorge family for generations. Here, you can not only learn about coffee cultivation and production, but also taste wine from the local vineyard and delicious coffee jam.
Kactus - tasting and shopping in the souvenir shop
In the cozy souvenir shop, you can sample local wines and rum. You can purchase the aforementioned beverages as well as other specialties from Canarian factories. You can also purchase non-commercial souvenirs made in the Canary Islands.
Arucas - Cathedral and Town Streets (40 min walk)
A town that reflects the economic progress that has taken place on the islands since the development of agriculture, particularly cochineal and banana cultivation. It boasts a famous cathedral, a botanical garden, and a rum factory, among other attractions.
