Jet skis can be rented at several locations in the south of the island, where designated riding circuits are available. Gliding over the waves on a jet ski is great entertainment for people who want to feel a thrill, but in controlled conditions.

Participants do not need a boating license because, according to Royal Decree 238/2019, a license is not required for short-term jet ski rentals (by the hour or fractions of an hour) when the jet ski is used on circular routes or during a group excursion. However, the person operating the jet ski must be at least 18 years old. Young people can also take part, but minors must have written permission from a parent or guardian and present that person’s ID. The ride lasts 15 or 30 minutes.
